
March 02, New Delhi – Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with his Canadian counterpart, Mark Carney, in New Delhi on Monday.
Both leaders will review the progress made to date across various areas of the India-Canada Strategic Partnership, building upon their earlier meetings in Kananaskis in June 2025 and Johannesburg in November 2025.
The leaders will also assess ongoing cooperation in key areas, including trade and investment; energy; critical minerals; agriculture; education, research, and innovation; and people-to-people ties.
They will also discuss regional and global developments.
Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Carney will also attend the India-Canada CEOs Forum, which is scheduled for later in the day.
