Gurugram, April 6 A 24-year-old executive of a private company was killed after a bus collided with his car near Molahera village here, police said on Monday.
The accident occurred on Sunday when the deceased, Sambhav Nigam, was returning home to his Sector 51 residence here after meeting a friend.
Nigam's car was completely mangled in the accident, and he died instantly. The driver, who fled the scene, and some passengers sustained minor injuries, they said.
Upon receiving information, a police team reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Initial investigations revealed speeding and negligence as the main causes of this accident, they added.
"A case has been registered against the bus driver under relevant sections of the Motor Vehicle Act, and an investigation has been initiated," a senior police officer said.
