Gonda (UP), March 29 Three people, including a minor, were killed when their motorcycle collided head-on with an unidentified vehicle on Sunday here, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police (East) Manoj Rawat said that around 8:30 pm, the three young men – Amardeep (23), Shyam (15), and Ritik (20) – were travelling together on a single motorcycle from Babhnan towards Gaura Chowki.
Near Buknapur village, an unidentified vehicle collided head-on with their motorcycle, leaving all of them seriously injured after falling onto the roadside.
Rawat informed that local residents passing by the scene immediately rushed the injured boys to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Gaur, Basti district, where doctors declared them dead.
He added that the bodies of the deceased have been sent for a post-mortem examination.
A case is being registered, and efforts are being made to trace the vehicle and its driver, police added.
