
Sehore (MP), February 26 A third-generation member of an influential business family from Sehore district in Madhya Pradesh has claimed that the then British government took a "war loan" of Rs 35,000 from his grandfather, which remains unpaid to this day.
Now, 109 years later, the grandson of the late businessman, Seth Jumma Lal Ruthia, Vivek Ruthia, is planning to send a legal notice to the UK government, asking them to repay the money. He says the amount now is in the crores.
