Bhopal, March 16 An email threatening to "detonate" the premises of a Madhya Pradesh state government office here on Monday, using cyanide gas cylinders, prompted a precautionary evacuation, officials said.

The threat turned out to be a hoax after police personnel searched the Weights and Measures Department office in the MP Nagar area.
