Mumbai, March 31 A fire broke out in the X-ray department of the civic-run Sion Hospital in central Mumbai on Tuesday, officials said.
There were no reports of any casualties, they said.
The fire started in an air conditioning unit on the ground floor of the hospital's X-ray department at 11:57 am, an official said.
After being alerted by the hospital's dean, the fire brigade, police, and civic staff rushed to the scene, and the fire was extinguished, he said.
