
Today, President Droupadi Murmu dedicated four schemes to the women of Delhi. These schemes include the Lakhpati Bitiya Scheme, Saheli Pink Smart Card, Meri Poonji Mera Adhikaar, and the Free LPG Cylinder Scheme.
Speaking at the event, President Murmu emphasized that women are an essential pillar of society. She added that their respect and empowerment are a true hallmark of a civilized nation. President Murmu highlighted that the central government has been working towards women's empowerment through transformative initiatives such as the PM Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, and the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.
Expressing confidence in the impact of the newly launched schemes, President Murmu said that these initiatives will instill confidence in the women of the national capital and inspire them to rise and achieve new heights.
Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Harsh Malhotra, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Vinai Kumar Saxena, and Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, were also present at the event.
