Muzaffarnagar (UP), March 26 Two people were killed and one was seriously injured after a tractor and a motorcycle collided head-on on the Delhi-Dehradun National Highway in the district on Thursday evening, police said.
The accident occurred near Sindhawli cut, under the Mansurpur police station area, they said.
According to police, Suhail (26), who was driving the tractor, and Nitin (25), who was on the motorcycle, died on the spot. Praveen, another motorcycle rider, sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Station House Officer Anand Dev Mishra said the injured person was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and further investigation is underway, police added.
