March 31, Kohima: Nagaland has added to its medal count in athletics at the 1st Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 in Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh.
Rüduolhounuo Rachel Belho secured a silver medal in the women's 100 metres sprint, finishing in 12.9 seconds and just behind Jharkhand's Prithvi Oraon.
This is the state's second medal.
In the men's 100 metres, Neiketoulie Belho finished fourth with a time of 10.93, narrowly missing a podium spot by just 0.02 seconds.
On Monday, Tsuchoi T secured a bronze medal in the women's 5000m event.
The athletics events are scheduled to continue until April 2, with more competitions planned.
