
April 8, Kohima: Nagaland achieved a crucial 4-wicket victory over Manipur in the North East Cricket Development Council U-23 Women’s Interstate Tournament 2026 T20, securing a spot in the semi-finals.
The match, played at the Sikkim Cricket Ground in Rangpo, saw Nagaland win the toss and opt to field.
After being put in to bat, Manipur struggled against Nagaland's bowlers, managing only 37 runs before being dismissed in 16.3 overs.
In response, Nagaland successfully chased the target in 11.2 overs.
Nagaland's Roma Subha was named Player of the Match for her impressive 3 wickets for 5 runs in 2.3 overs.
This victory propelled Nagaland to the top of Group A. The team will face Meghalaya in the semi-finals tomorrow.
