Nagpur, April 7 A cache of explosives, including 58 detonators and 15 gelatin sticks, was found in a garden located in Dosar Bhavan square in Nagpur city, Maharashtra, on Tuesday, prompting a swift response from the police.
Police received a call from a resident of the Dosar Bhavan square area in the morning about some explosives lying in a garden near his house, a police officer said.
"A BDDS team rushed to the spot and seized 58 detonators and 15 gelatin sticks. Teams from the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) and PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation) are investigating. CCTV footage from the area has been secured," he added.
