
Bhopal, March 29 Civil Aviation Minister K Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated key passenger facilities at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Sunday via video conference.
He inaugurated a domestic arrival hall, a fire station, and formally launched 'Digi Yatra' at an event held in Rajkot, Gujarat, in the presence of Airports Authority of India Chairman Vipin Kumar and Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha. MLA Rameshwar Sharma and Mayor Malti Rai also attended the event here.
"A ceremonial water cannon salute was presented by the fire and rescue team to mark the occasion. The newly commissioned fire station, equipped with advanced Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting infrastructure, will enhance safety and enable upgrading from CAT-VII to CAT-IX, strengthening emergency preparedness," airport director Ramjee Awasthi told
