March 22, New Delhi: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan attended the 81st Foundation Day celebrations of the Pune Nisargopchar Ashram on Sunday. The event highlighted the importance of natural healing, yoga, and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering, the Vice President said that naturopathy is deeply rooted in India's ancient traditions and continues to be highly relevant in modern times. He also recalled Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy that nature is the greatest healer.
Radhakrishnan emphasized the growing significance of naturopathy and other traditional Indian systems of medicine.
