April 06, New Delhi: INS Trikand, the Indian Navy's frontline guided missile frigate, has arrived in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, as part of its ongoing operational deployment in the Southwestern Indian Ocean region.
During the port call, professional, cultural, and social engagements will take place, and essential supplies will be handed over to the Tanzanian government.
The ship's captain will meet senior officials from the Tanzania People's Defence Force and the government. This visit aims to strengthen camaraderie, mutual cooperation, and bilateral relations between India and Tanzania.
