New Delhi, March 17 Financial services firm Navi announced its entry into the motor insurance segment on Tuesday with the launch of a fully digital, commission-free offering for cars and two-wheelers.

The direct-to-customer product, available on the Navi app, eliminates intermediary commissions to offer competitive and transparent pricing, the company said in a statement.

The new offering provides comprehensive, own-damage, and third-party coverage for both traditional and electric vehicles (EVs).

"As a digital-first, direct-to-customer insurer, we are eliminating commissions entirely, thus passing those savings directly to customers through competitive pricing," said Vaibhav Goyal, Managing Director and CEO, Navi General Insurance.

City Union Bank ropes in Ravindra Jadeja as brand ambassador.

*Private sector City Union Bank announced on Tuesday that it has signed cricketer Ravindra Jadeja as the brand ambassador for the bank.

The bank entered into an agreement on March 16, with Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja and Baseline Ventures (India) Private Ltd for a period of two years, City Union Bank said in a regulatory filing.

This partnership is intended to leverage the bank's brand association with a personality synonymous with reliability and multifaceted excellence, which is expected to support customer acquisition and long-term customer engagement with the bank, it said.
