
The two-day conference of the Additional Directors General (ADGs) and Deputy Directors General (DDGs) of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) began in New Delhi today. Speaking at the conference, Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of transforming the National Cadet Corps in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. He also praised the NCC's significant contribution to various social outreach programs conducted across the country.
While interacting with the ADGs and DDGs of all NCC directorates, Mr. Singh called for coordinated efforts aligned with the policies and initiatives of the Central Government. He noted that such efforts would contribute to the more effective achievement of the goals and objectives of the NCC. Meanwhile, Director General of the NCC, Virendra Vats, highlighted the initiatives undertaken during the past year to expand the NCC and enhance infrastructure and logistical support. The two-day conference provides a valuable platform for senior NCC leadership to discuss key policy issues, share best practices, and chart a roadmap for further strengthening the organization and its training framework in the years ahead.
