The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken suo motu action based on media reports alleging obscenity and vulgarity in two songs, "Tattiri / Tatihari" and "Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke." It has issued summons to singer and lyricist Aditya Pareek Singh Sisodia, also known as Badshah, director Mahi Sandhu and Joban Sandhu, and producer Hiten, directing them to appear before the commission on the 25th of this month.
