
March 05, New Delhi – Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and BJP president Nitin Nabin were among the five NDA candidates who filed their nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections on Thursday.
They submitted the papers in the presence of India's Home Minister Amit Shah at the office of Assembly Secretary Khyati Singh.
The other NDA candidates who filed their nominations are BJP state general secretary Shivesh Kumar, JD(U)’s Ram Nath Thakur, and RLM’s Upendra Kushwaha.
Other candidates who filed their nominations for the biennial election to the Rajya Sabha include DMK's Tiruchi Siva and J. Constandine Ravindran, AIADMK's M. Thambi Durai, PMK's Anbumani Ramadoss, Congress' M. Christopher Tilak, and DMDK's L.K. Sudhish.
