
Chennai, March 21 Asserting that cinema is a medium far more potent than any physical armament, acclaimed filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj said his upcoming production 'Neelira' is an attempt to use the "weapon of empathy" to tell the untold stories of civilian life during the Sri Lankan civil conflict.
"I have always believed that cinema is a form of art stronger than any weapon. It is about expressing emotions that resonate across borders. Beyond the commercial aspects of filmmaking, we have a responsibility to tell certain true stories that the world hasn't heard or seen -- stories that create a lasting impact on the audience," Subbaraj told
