The North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy organized a "Walk for Homoeopathy" on April 9 in Shillong to commemorate World Homoeopathy Day and the 271st birth anniversary of Samuel Hahnemann. The walk, which was initiated by Dr. B.D.R. Tiwari, began at the State Central Library and ended at the Golf Club. The event focused on the theme "Bharatiya Homoeopathy: Transforming Traditional Wisdom into Tangible Science" and involved participation from students, doctors, and staff, promoting homoeopathy as a safe and comprehensive medical system.
