March 15, New Delhi: At least seven Indian pilgrims were killed in a tragic road accident in Gorkha on Saturday evening. Police said an electric microbus carrying 16 people, including 14 pilgrims returning from worship at the revered Manakamana Temple, veered off the road and plunged nearly 200 metres at Kantar in Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality.
The victims include two women and five men, all Indian nationals. Authorities said an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
