Prime Minister of Nepal, Balendra Shah, relieved Minister for Labour, Employment, and Social Security, Dip Kumar Sah, from his position today. Mr. Shah dismissed Dip Kumar Sah based on a recommendation from the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party. Minister Sah is accused of abusing his position by having his wife appointed as a member of the Health Insurance Board, which has been inactive for a long time. PM Shah took action against Minister Sah following a recommendation from RSP president Lamichhane, along with a report from the RSP party's disciplinary commission.
