Nepal will no longer issue visas upon arrival to Iranian nationals, the Immigration Department has announced. They issued a notice stating that Iranian nationals, except those holding government or diplomatic passports, will be required to obtain a visa from a Nepalese embassy abroad before entering the Himalayan nation. This brings the total number of countries ineligible for on-arrival visas to Nepal to 13.
