March 20, New Delhi – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel and the United States were “winning” the war against Iran, claiming that the Islamic republic had been “decimated” and adding that it was unclear who was in charge there.
Speaking at a press conference in English, Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tehran no longer had the capacity to enrich uranium or manufacture ballistic missiles and indicated that the campaign against Iran would continue. He said, “There’s still more work to do, and we’re gonna do it.” He also stated that any attempts to close the strategic Strait of Hormuz would fail.
Netanyahu further asserted that Israel had “acted alone” in striking Iran’s massive South Pars Gas Field, while confirming that Donald Trump had asked Israeli forces to “hold off” on such attacks going forward. He also rejected claims that he had dragged Trump into the conflict, indicating instead that he was the junior partner in the joint assault on Iran.
