The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade held the 110th meeting of the Network Planning Group in New Delhi to assess infrastructure projects. The meeting focused on improving multi-modal connectivity and logistical efficiency in line with the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan.

It evaluated two projects involving rail, metro, and highway infrastructure, each for its compliance with the PM GatiShakti principles of integrated multi-modal infrastructure, providing last-mile connectivity to economic and social centers.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry stated that these initiatives are expected to improve logistical efficiency, reduce travel times, and deliver significant socio-economic benefits to the areas surrounding the projects.
