‘Never Outshine the Master’: Chadha’s Response to AAP Shift.webp

New Delhi, April 6 AAP MP Raghav Chadha, who has been sidelined, shared a post on social media on Monday saying, "Never outshine the master," amid a bitter rift with his party leadership.

Chadha shared pictures on Instagram of himself reading a book titled "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene. In his post, the Rajya Sabha MP said, "Someone gifted me this book this week."

"It's interesting how timing works," he said in his post. "Some books arrive exactly when they are meant to," his post added, "I turned to Chapter 1 -- Never outshine the master."

The AAP had last week removed him as its deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, and the MP reacted by saying he had been "silenced, not defeated."

The party also launched a full-scale attack, accusing Chadha of shying away from raising Punjab's issues in Parliament and instead engaging in "soft PR."

A combative Chadha has released four videos since his removal as deputy leader, dropping enough hints that he will not take his demotion lying down.

The AAP had also accused Chadha of avoiding raising questions against Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the Centre in Parliament.

Chadha had hit back, saying he was in Parliament to raise people's issues and not to create ruckus.

He also rejected claims that he did not participate in opposition walkouts, refused to sign a notice for a motion to remove the chief election commissioner, and was "afraid" to raise key issues.
