Today, the Indian Navy inducted Anjadip, the fourth Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC). The vessel was commissioned in the presence of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi at Chennai Port. The Indian Navy stated that the domestically built 77-meter Dolphin Hunter is equipped with advanced, lightweight torpedoes, Anti-Submarine Warfare rockets, hull-mounted sonar, and a high-speed water-jet propulsion system. It has over 80% indigenous content, in line with the "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" vision. This initiative strengthens India's coastal defense and anti-submarine capabilities.
