JAMMU, APRIL 06: Mohammad Aslam assumed the role of Commandant of the 2nd Battalion of the SDRF in Jammu, succeeding Zahid Naseem Manhas, who has been appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police, Railways, J&K.
Upon taking office, Aslam emphasized the need to enhance the SDRF's operational efficiency in disaster management and emergency response through improved preparedness, coordination, and capacity building. He expressed confidence in further strengthening the force's role in protecting lives and property.
The new Commandant extended best wishes to his predecessor, while Zahid Naseem Manhas appreciated the SDRF's contributions during his tenure and welcomed Aslam to his new role.
