
SRINAGAR, April 8: The Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) inaugurated a technology-driven agricultural advisory ecosystem at its Shalimar campus.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai launched the e-Plant Health Clinic, Farmer School Centre, Agri-Clinic, Agri-Business Centre, and the new SAMETI Conference Hall. The initiative provides digital tools for pest and disease diagnosis, enabling proactive, science-based farming.
Officials highlighted the platform's role in capacity building, promoting innovation, and fostering agricultural startups, positioning SKUAST-K as a model for regional agricultural development.
