Inspection of the pending Mini Secretariat project brings renewed focus on early construction as public delegations highlight development needs across the Gulmarg constituency areas

March 8, Gulmarg: Member of Legislative Assembly, Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah visited the Mini Secretariat building to review the status of the long-standing project and assess the work required for its completion. The visit aimed to expedite the development project intended to strengthen local administrative infrastructure.

During the inspection, the MLA directed the concerned officers to complete all necessary formalities at the earliest so that construction work can commence without further delay. He emphasized timely completion of official procedures to ensure that the project moves forward smoothly for the benefit of the public.

Speaking on the occasion, Farooq Ahmad Shah stated that the work on the project will begin soon with the support of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He said the government has released funds during the current year specifically for completing long-standing and incomplete buildings across the region.

The MLA said that the completion of the Mini Secretariat will greatly benefit the people by bringing various government offices under one roof, making access to public services more convenient and efficient for residents of the constituency.

Later, the MLA met several delegations from different areas of the Gulmarg constituency. The delegations apprised him of various public issues and developmental requirements concerning their respective localities. He patiently listened to their concerns and assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt resolution.
