Shukla, who previously served as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, was warmly welcomed by Reddy upon his arrival here on Tuesday.

In his message to the people of Telangana after taking office as Governor, Shukla expressed his sincere gratitude to the President and the Prime Minister for entrusting him with the responsibility.

"I consider it a privilege to serve the people of Telangana—a state known for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and remarkable spirit of progress. Having previously served as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, I look forward to making a meaningful contribution to this dynamic state," he said.

Telangana stands as a symbol of aspiration, innovation, and resilience. The industrious spirit of its people, along with the state's abundant resources and strategic vision, provides a strong foundation for inclusive growth and sustainable development, the Governor said.
