
The Northern Railway has announced a route change for the Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Amritsar. An Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that the train will now operate via Gurdaspur and Batala, replacing the previous route through Jalandhar. This move aims to reduce travel time and improve connectivity. The train will stop at Jammu, Pathankot Cantonment, Gurdaspur, and Batala. Officials stated that the change will benefit passengers, especially pilgrims, and enhance travel convenience. Revised schedules will be implemented soon.
