JAMMU, FEBRUARY 24: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the ₹1,677 crore expansion of the Civil Enclave at the Srinagar International Airport.

Approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), the project includes a new 71,500 sqm terminal designed to handle 2,900 passengers during peak hours and 10 million passengers annually. The LG said the expansion will boost tourism, investment, and job creation, transforming the Valley's economy.

He also noted that the new terminal at the Jammu Airport is scheduled for completion by the end of the year, further strengthening regional connectivity.
