February 17, Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a search operation on Tuesday at a residential house in the Mehjoor Nagar area of Srinagar, in connection with case RC-18/2024.
According to official sources, the raid was carried out at the residence of an elderly individual, a resident of Gulshan Abad, Mehjoor Nagar. The individual is a retired government employee who previously worked in the Agriculture Department.
Officials said that the searches were part of the ongoing investigation related to the NIA case. However, no immediate details were shared regarding the nature of the allegations or any material seized during the operation.
Security personnel were deployed in the area during the search proceedings, while the investigation into the matter is ongoing. Further details are awaited.
