
Mumbai, March 13 Actress Nimrat Kaur celebrated her birthday with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath at the Kashi Vishwanath temple.
The actress, known for her role in "Airlift," visited one of the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines for the first time. During her religious visit, Nimrat also participated in the Mangal Aarti to seek blessings on her special day.
She shared a couple of pictures from her unique birthday celebration on her official Instagram handle. In one photo, Nimrat is seen offering prayers to Lord Shiva while wearing a pink saree.
Expressing her gratitude for this divine start to her new year, she wrote, "I celebrated my birthday with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath during the Mangal Aarti this morning. I am so grateful for all the love, warmth, and kind wishes. Whatever the universe has planned, this has been the perfect start to my new year, my first time in Varanasi...My heart is full, thank you life…Har Har Mahadev (sic)".
In one of the photos, the actress, known for "The Lunchbox," is seen enjoying the beautiful sunset while sipping tea on the balcony of her room. The last photo shows the birthday girl on a boat with only water around her.
Nimrat often shares these special moments of her life with her Instagram followers.
On January 23, she paid a heartfelt tribute to her late father, Major Bhupender Singh, 32 years after his martyrdom while serving the nation.
Nimrat said that her father lived and gave his life with utmost courage and dignity.
"It has been 32 years since Papa left us in service of the nation. He was a self-made son of the soil, a devoted husband and father, and above all, a brave soldier who was fearless, even in the face of death," her post read.
Nimrat also thanked the Indian Army and the administration for immortalizing her father's name in Ganganagar, the land where he was born, and in the Kashmir Valley, where he was martyred.
