
Itanagar, March 18 Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu congratulated BJP president Nitin Nabin on being elected to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar, stating that his deep understanding of governance would be a great asset to the nation.
Nabin was elected to the Rajya Sabha on Monday, with the ruling NDA securing all five seats in the state, where biennial elections were held.
"My heartfelt congratulations to Shri Nitin Nabin ji, Hon'ble National President of BJP, on being elected to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar," Khandu said in a post on X.
"A five-time member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, his strong leadership, deep understanding of governance, and unwavering dedication to public service will be a great asset to the nation. I wish him a successful, meaningful, and impactful tenure ahead," he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein also congratulated Nabin, saying his leadership and dedication to public service had earned him widespread respect.
"Your dedication to public service and commitment to the ideals of the party are admirable. This additional role, along with your leadership, will further strengthen the voice of the people and contribute meaningfully to nation-building," Mein said.
