Thane, March 2 A fire broke out in a warehouse in the Kolshet Road area of Thane city, Maharashtra, on Monday night. Firefighting operations were underway, and no injuries were reported, according to civic officials.
The fire originated in the warehouse of Shruti Engineers Works, located in the Mohan Mill Compound in the Dhokali area, and was reported to the Disaster Management Cell around 9:47 pm, said Yasin Tadvi, chief of the Thane Municipal Corporation's disaster management cell.
"There have been no reports of injuries. Firefighting operations are being carried out using one high-rise firefighting vehicle, a large water tanker, and a utility vehicle. The cause of the fire is being investigated," Tadvi added.
