The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Kerala, Mahe, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal today. The weather agency has also forecast thunderstorms with hail over Delhi, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Odisha for today. According to the IMD, similar conditions are also expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and Jharkhand today. It has also predicted thunderstorms with lightning over East Rajasthan, Punjab, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh over the next two days.
