Northwest Delhi Man Dies After Price Argument.webp

New Delhi, April 3 A 35-year-old man was killed by a tea seller in a dispute over the price of gutka in northwest Delhi's Azadpur Mandi area on Friday, police said.

The victim, identified as Nazim, was a driver from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Nazim had an argument with a 19-year-old tea seller, Rahul, who is a resident of Libaspur in Delhi, over the price of gutka, according to a police officer.

"The dispute escalated into a physical altercation during which the accused stabbed Nazim with a knife," the officer said.

Nazim was taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The accused has been apprehended and the weapon used in the crime has been recovered, they said.

A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway, they said.
