
March 13, New Delhi – Summer has begun to make its presence felt across India, with temperatures gradually increasing from the northern areas down to the southern regions.
The India Meteorological Department has forecast light rainfall in northwest India, including Delhi, from March 14 to 17 due to a new western disturbance.
The weather department has also issued a rain alert for Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
It has also predicted light rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand between March 15 and 18.
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya are expected to experience heavy rain today, which may persist until March 15.
Meanwhile, Gujarat, the Saurashtra-Kutch region, and southwest Madhya Pradesh are expected to continue experiencing hot conditions, with no relief in sight.
