
Keonjhar (Odisha), April 11 Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated several projects on Saturday, including a new bridge over the Ardei Nala in his home district of Keonjhar.
Majhi said the inauguration of the bridge fulfilled long-standing demands of the people of Bodapalasa Gram Panchayat. The new bridge will directly benefit more than 5,000 people from Bodapalasa and the surrounding five gram panchayats.
He said that this infrastructure project will bring a new identity to the Keonjhar Sadar area. The 100-meter-long bridge is expected to transform transportation in the region and support overall development, the chief minister said.
The CM also inaugurated the newly constructed underpass on the Panikoili-Rimuli section of the new NH-20 at Langlakanti in Keonjhar district.
The underpass is an important road along NH-20, which is one of the important highways connecting major industrial, mining and commercial areas of the state.
During the visit, Majhi also attended several other functions, a CMO official said.
