
Date: 7 March 2026: The 28th Passing Out Parade of the Short Service Commission Technical (Men and Women) Courses was held at the Officers Training Academy, Gaya, marking the successful commissioning of 281 young officers into the Indian Army.
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, reviewed the parade and congratulated the officer cadets on completing their rigorous training. In his address, he encouraged the newly commissioned officers to remain adaptable, uphold the core values of the Indian Army, and lead with integrity, humility, and dedication to the nation.
A total of 281 cadets were commissioned, including 253 from the Short Service Commission Technical (Men) 64th Course and 28 from the Short Service Commission Technical (Women) 35th Course.
The parade concluded with the traditional Antim Pag followed by the pipping ceremony, where family members and senior officers adorned the new officers with their ranks, marking the beginning of their commissioned service.

Chief of Army Staff Banner: Gurez Company – Overall Champion Company
The Reviewing Officer congratulated the officers and their families and expressed confidence that they would uphold the highest traditions of the Indian Army while serving the nation with honour and commitment.
