New Delhi, March 11 The CBI has arrested one of its own inspectors for allegedly demanding a bribe in exchange for not taking action on a complaint registered with the agency, officials said on Wednesday.
The officer was arrested on Tuesday and has been placed in CBI custody for further questioning in the case.
"Searches were conducted at the accused's residence, and incriminating documents, including electronic devices, were seized," the agency spokesperson said.
