President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Nand Kishor Somani Oncology Block of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, today. She is also scheduled to visit the Udiya Baba Ashram and Davanal Kund. President Murmu will also visit the Samadhi of Neeb Karori Baba in Vrindavan and pay floral tributes.
Yesterday, she visited the Prem Mandir and the ISKCON Temple in Vrindavan and performed Aarti. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel also attended the Aarti. The President is on a three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, which began yesterday.
Earlier yesterday, President Murmu visited the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. She performed Darshan and Aarti at various places within the Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir and participated in the Shri Ram Yantra Sthapana event. Speaking on the occasion, the President said that the country is progressing towards the creation of an inclusive society and a developed nation. She expressed confidence that, with the blessings of Lord Ram, the country will achieve these goals by 2047.
