
February 23, New Delhi – Three terrorists were neutralized in a joint security operation in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Sunday.
The operation, codenamed "Operation C-I", was launched following specific intelligence reports about the presence of three Pakistani terrorists in the area. During the ensuing encounter, all three were killed. Security forces recovered two AK-47 rifles and other military-related items from the site.
The Indian Army described Operation Trashi-I as a textbook example of perseverance, a clear strategy, meticulous planning, and seamless coordination among Indian forces and security agencies in their ongoing efforts to counter terrorism in the region.
