
New Delhi, March 12 Members of the Trinamool Congress will stage a protest within the Parliament complex on March 13 to protest the LPG situation, a party leader said on Thursday.
The protest will take place at 10:30 am, before the House convenes for the day, the leader stated.
On Thursday, female members of the TMC brought utensils to the Lok Sabha and banged plates to draw the attention of the treasury benches to the LPG crisis in the country.
Opposition members also staged a protest in the Parliament House complex over the shortage of cooking gas and sought answers from the government on how it planned to address the issue.
During their demonstration, members from the Congress, DMK, TMC, and SP, among others, shouted "Naam Narender, Kaam Surrender" and "Modi ji, LPG" to denounce the Prime Minister.
The female members sat with a mock brick cooking stove.
