New Delhi, March 12 Lok Sabha proceedings were adjourned until 12 noon on Thursday amid slogans raised by opposition members.
Speaker Om Birla was chairing the proceedings, a day after a resolution seeking his removal was rejected in the House.
As soon as the House met, opposition members started raising slogans.
Birla urged them to allow the Question Hour to proceed smoothly.
Emphasizing the importance of the Question Hour, Birla said he would present his views on the resolution seeking his removal at 12 noon, and not immediately.
However, the House was adjourned shortly thereafter as the opposition members continued their protest.
