
March 21, New Delhi – India continued its strong performance in the women's singles at the 2026 Orleans Masters Super 300, with Tanvi Sharma and Isharani Baruah winning their respective quarter-final matches on Friday.
Tanvi, the 17-year-old prodigy, defeated sixth-seeded Japanese player Natuski Nidaira 21-14, 21-14. She will next face former world champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the semi-final today.
Later in the day, Isharani advanced to the semi-finals after her Indian teammate Malvika Bansod retired midway through their all-Indian quarter-final match.
Elsewhere, the Indian men's doubles pair of Hariharan Amsakarunan and MR Arjun lost to the third-seeded Indonesian pair of Leo Rolly Carnando and Bagas Maulana in straight games, losing 12-21, 20-22.
