Kolkata, March 25 Asserting that the people of Bengal were being oppressed, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi stated on Wednesday that his party has allied with Humayun Kabir's AJUP to provide the alternative they seek.
Addressing a press conference in Kolkata with Kabir by his side, Owaisi claimed that the development of minorities is a major issue in West Bengal, where elections will be held next month.
"AIMIM is joining forces with Humayun Kabir to prevent the exploitation of vulnerable sections of Bengal," he said.
