Jaipur, March 12 Rajasthan Minister Madan Dilawar will undertake a four-day padyatra (march) from Friday to interact with the people of his Ramganj Mandi assembly constituency in Kota and review the implementation of government welfare schemes.
The "Jan Hitay, Jan Sukhay Padyatra" will pass through 24 villages in the Ladpura Panchayat Samiti area.
"The main objective of this march is to ensure that eligible beneficiaries in rural areas receive the benefits of various welfare schemes of the state and central governments," said Dilawar, the Minister of Education and Panchayati Raj.
Dilawar alleged that during the previous Congress government, benefits of welfare schemes were extended selectively, and many eligible people were excluded from schemes such as the food security programme and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
He said that the present BJP government, under Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, is working to ensure that welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.
